AlcoMate Premium AL7000 Breathalyzer

Pros: Great device based on looks and style. The device always gives a pretty stable reading after multiple tests and the ability to change the sensor make it all that more attractive. The site said I'd get a soft case but it turned out to be a hard case. That was a pleasant surprise.

Cons: One time I pushed the mouthpieces into the unit and I guess it was too snug in there because it was very difficult to get out. Also I don't think this is because of the device but blowing for 5 seconds is pretty difficult after a few drinks.

Overall: After talking with a sales associate over the phone all my main concerns were answered. I was basically worried that i was buying a novelty item compared to police grade breathalyzers. consumer breathalyzers sure have made great stride in bridging that gap between consumer breathalyzers and professional breathalyzers. I've used this device for over a year now and have changed the sensor once returning the breathalyzer to brand new.
