The AlcoScan AL5000 digital professional alcohol breath analyzer is a U.S. DOT approved precision alcohol breathalyzer which employs an advanced integrated *MEMS microchip gas sensor. The AL5000 measures your blood alcohol content within a range of 0.00% to 0.40% BAC, in .01% increments. AL5000 delivers .01% or 10% accuracy at 0.10% BAC. The AlcoScan AL-5000 is a lightweight and easy to use "High Quality Personal" tester. Its semiconductor-oxide sensor provides your BAC reading at a very wide range - from 0.00 to 0.40 %BAC. A mouthpiece is required - just blow into the sensor and your BAC is displayed in seconds on the easy to read LCD screen. This model is easy to use and affordable. The AlcoScan AL-5000 boasts several new features, such as a cumulative test counter and specialized notification messages. The AlcoScan AL-5000 is also smaller and more lightweight compared with our AlcoMate series of breath alcohol testers, and features a high accuracy level for professional use. The AlcoScan AL-5000 includes a clear LED display and indicators. Easy and convenient to use, the AL5000 is recommended for both personal and professional screening. It includes 8 specially designed mouthpieces ensuring sanitary use of the device.
